A letter from the CEO

Being the parent of a child with special needs can be challenging. It can bring unexpected stresses within the family unit, and possibly bring doubt about your own parenting abilities. You try your best to be kind, patient, and loving but there are times that you just get so tired that you want to quit. I understand; I have been in that place many times. Finding the right resources to help with those daily struggles is difficult; we are here to help.

I have two adult children with developmental disabilities, and I have worked with other individuals with developmental disabilities for over twenty years. I served on County Boards of DD, worked on governmental task forces to bring about DD and Behavioral Health service delivery change, participate on the DODD Council, have been a CARF surveyor for fifteen years, and actively advocate for individual rights.

I strongly believe that service delivery should be person centered, and I encourage individuals and families to help from their team of caregivers. We are licensed through the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Service as a provider of behavioral health services. This was added after recognizing a prevalent need for my clients. Our therapeutic services were created to help with such things as behavior planning, coping skills, independent living skills, healthy relationships, anger management, and more.

Our employees are amazing, and they are committed to delivering the highest quality programs to all individuals in our care. We hope that you will choose to join our family and allow us to provide quality care for you or a loved one. Let's take this journey together.
